Daz, off topic. Have you ever come across ‘Jumping Jimmy Thunder’. I used to go and see him perform at the Golden Eagle in Weymouth every week about 25-30 years ago.
He is (was) an embarrassing Elvis impersonator. But brilliant, I still have videos of him. Ring any bells?
The name does ring a vague bell yes. Come to think of it, the pub just outside Blue Waters holiday camp once put a Helvus bloke on when we had a rock ‘n’ roll weekender there. Coulda been him. That’d have been somewhere around 1985.
Yep. 85′s ’bout the time. I used to drive down from Bournemouth to Weymouth, with me mates, twice a week to see him. What a show!
