Daz,
Many thanks – the world is indeed a more boring place since the demise of the late, great Lux Interior.
I tried recently tried to describe the Cramps to a fellow workmate. I said ‘Well, in various line-ups, you have a half blind drummer, the worlds sexiest female guitarist, a 6 foot 5″ transsexual, the worlds coolest man (Bryan Gregory) and words simply cannot do justice to Lux.
So, seeing that my descriptions left him bemused – I started to talk about Frank Zappa, another of my heroes, and I now have the impression he thinks I’m making these artists up!
Enjoy.
Nice pick!
I’m stuck between three:
Daz,
As always, quality.
I’d never heard of the Phantom.
Here is a classic cover of a classic record – enjoy!
I’ve got that on 45!
Here’s some Link Wray:
Daz,
I had heard of Link Wray but never had the chance to listen to his stuff – great!
Here is a classic from the Gun Club
On a slightly different note do you remember Wall of Voodoo
who tried to cross electronic with country?
