Just thought I'd share this little gem. The song itself is pretty standard, middle-of-the-road schlock rockabilly. The backing, erm, "singing," though… Well, let's just say it doesn't seem to be conveying quite the impression one assumes that a song-writer hoping to get a song published in 1958 probably wanted it to convey. See what you think…

Daz,
This skates closer to the edge than most records from that time. More from the ‘breathless’ female backing vocals than the male lead vocals.
But, personally, I always found the lyrics of ‘sweet little sixteen’ by Chuck Berry somewhat ‘dodgy’.
Anyway it put me in mind of this classic by the Cramps, enjoy.
I had always wondered if there was a precedent for the orgasm in the deli scene from When Harry Met Sally.
