There's demons all around me,
Tempting me from left and right;
A god who watches all I do—
There's no hiding from his sight.
Nothing's casual in this life.
Every single thing's a test.

Scientology: Jason Beghe Interview—My Damascene Moment Revisited

If anyone out there remembers my "how I became an atheist" piece, Daz On The Road To Damascus, you may recall I mentioned that the initial spark which led to my Damascene moment was provided by a video of a chap, whose name I'd forgotten, talking of how he'd become an apostate of the Church of Scientology.

Well, Gentle Reader, a recent article over at The Freethinker about LRH's son reminded me of it, so I did a little googling and found the very video which started the process that turned me from atheist to Atheist—from a-religious to anti-religious.

If Britain was declared by U.N. resolution to be the rightful home of anyone who could trace their ancestry back to the ancient British Celts, that these "modern Celts," wherever in the world they happen to currently abide, had the "right" to "settle" my land and force me into a ghetto, to do to a map of my country what has been done to the above map of Palestine…

Would you claim that the roots of my hostility toward these invaders—oh, I'm sorry, "settlers"—lay in the soil of religion, not territory or politics?
